Theming Leopard 10.5
- 10.5 ArtFile.bin: Help decrypting the current most wanted file!
- 10.5 SArtFile.bin: Modify some menus and the iChat application.
- ArtTools: Decode and re-encode SArtFiles.bin.
- Extras.rsrc: Combined with SArtFile.bin, this can provide a more or less complete theming solution.
- Vector UI: Experimental resolution independent UI.
Theming Snow Leopard 10.6
Snow Leopard theming is underway with the official release of Geekspiff's ThemePark 4, that supports encoding and decoding the new SArtFile.bin.
Other than the encode change, rendering it incompatible with the current version of ArtTools, Apple changed very little in terms of the order (numbering) of the resources included.
The most notable addition is the inclusion of the new black contextual dock menu resources.
The file itself has been greatly slimmed down in terms of size as well while gaining new resources, an impressive feat.
