Hi all, I've been working on this SIMBL plugin for a couple hours now and its almost ready. It uses some cocoa methods to customize text colors and theme every window unthemed by the app. I may do something shapeshifter-esque with this if I have time in the future.
Its not ready since it has some minor bugs with Utility windows and window corners.

Are you going to share your methods to do this? It'd help bring the theming community a few steps forward, considering this IS MacThemes.
As for the theme itself, I suppose it's a little bit uncreative; you kind of see attempts at it kinda often, but it doesn't look too bad. Although I'm not sure if it's possible, I think it'd help if you intensified the outline on the window a little bit... the light outline next to the very dark window kind of looks blurry. I'd also like to see traffic light buttons with a lesser highlight.
I think it's off to a good start and I'm looking forward to seeing how you did it all.
Oh, and a question: You said you think it'd work on both Leopard and Snow Leopard. Were these particular screenshots taken in Leopard, or in Snow Leopard? Just curious so I could get an idea as to how the bottom bars would work under each operating system.
These screenshots are on SL. Sorry, but I don't think I'll share just yet. Like I said I may make a shapeshifter-like application to make it customizable. I'll see what I can do about the window's outline.

Ahh, fair enough. Theming isn't one of my top priorities anyway P:
I just tested this on 10.5. Works perfectly. Only issue is that since Finder is in Carbon on 10.5, it doesn't apply to Finder/iTunes/All Carbon apps. But there aren't many carbon apps these days so that shouldn't be an issue.
Absolutely stunning, a black theme that finally looks good. If you can fix the black-text-on-black-background problems that plagued most past attempts, you'll get my eternal admiration (if that's any motivation!)
I'm putting this on hold for a while so I don't get distracted on my other projects which are more important. If I'm not getting anywhere I'll just release it as is as a beta version. Sorry for the delay :O
