Hey guys,

I made a new Growl theme with a minimal approach and as you can see on the screenshot;

Image

Yes, it doesn't show the description, just the notification title.

It is animated and you should click here or here (left version) for a html/css preview. (tested only on Safari)

If you like it you can download it here (v2 - right & left versions).
(v1 still here if you're having problems with v2 [it looks the same])

You should also check out Adamantine (Bowtie theme) by alberteddu as it was my main source of inspiration while working on this theme. It's really amazing.

Have fun.

Nice! Love the animation & the simplicity!
Nice!

What is the name of the font it requires?

Open Sans :)
Could you make a version that shows more than one line of text, or show me the basic CSS I can use to mess around with?
Sorry, one more request...It will be so nice if you make an alternate version in which the animation comes left to right.
thanks.

It already supports multi-line titles so I suppose you want the description ?
here, but I just added the description without giving it a proper styling. It's #text in CSS.

Yeah, I forgot that you could change the default starting position  I added it to the first post, just re-download and you'll have it.
thanks a lot :)

Great, Thank you very much! This work is very pleasing to me.
I don't know why that didn't work when I tried it! :/
I love this growl theme! However, I am running the most recent version of 10.6, and version 2 crashed Growl whenever i opened it. Assuming it was for Growl 1.3, I deleted the theme out of the Growl Themes folder in my library and everything was fine. When I downloaded version 1 and Open Sans, i got this: http://d.pr/i/tMrU

Sorry. I don't think I can do anything about that.

Growl theming is really tricky as it doesn't behave like Safari. It was already a big challenge to get the theme to work on the latest version and I'm afraid I have no way to test it on previous versions.
Love this themes i customize colors for all programs like Leech, sparrow, adium and its realy awesome!
Thanks a lot
Beautifully minimal. New default style for me! Thank you!
