prior to doing all that i think i managed to edit the location for my weather correctly ... i think that the theme uses http://www.accuweather.com as its weather source so i looked up my home city on accuweather (Sydney, Au) and then put the code from the end of that search url from that lookup ( OCN|AU|NSW|SYDNEY) into the LockBackground.html using notepad ... i also changed celcius= false to celcius = true

i still didnt get the wallpaper after doing that and still ended up with the black screen with the little ? mark ... i then did mzkillabeatz suggestion ...

just place your wallpaper in this directory: /private/var/mobile/Library/SpringBoard/Lock.jpg and name it exactly "Lock.jpg" and you will be good to go

after respringing it all seems to be working ok ..... but can someone who actually knows what they are doing pls confirm with me that i have done the correct procedure :) ...

3. also ... on my version the space on the overlay in the centre btwn where the time and where it gives the MONTH DATE DAY info ie Feb 28 Mon ... is very squashed up ...how can i change that so it reads Mon 28 Feb ...

and there is very little space btwn the bottom of the time numerals and the top of the "Mon 28 Feb" - how can i "lower" that "Mon 28 Feb" a little so that it looks less squashed

4. does this method of getting the wallpaper to show up mean that i have to call every wallpaper for every LS a unique name in regards to both the info on the HTML code and the jpeg file name as doesnt this method mean that all walls from all LS will be going into the same location ie >>> /private/var/mobile/Library/SpringBoard/Lock.jpg .. they can't all be called the same thing ???? so how does that work or have i muisunderstood it ???

D/L my modded HTML file here:

It answers your Q1, Q3, Q4

This is how I work out to get my homescreens and lockscreens done. I thinks it's the easiest way.

1. cr8 a folder with any name with .theme at the end. for eg: background.theme

2. get any image you want for your lockscreen background and name it LockBackground.png. Then copy the file into the above folder. - It must be called LockBackground.png.

3. copy the above folder to your themes folder on your iphone. use i-funbox to do so. location is /var/stash/themes......

4. edit the LockBackground.html and look for this line:
src="/var/stash/Themes.Q0GDr7/vinni.theme/LockBackground.jpg"

and where it says vinni.theme change that to your folder name. Also note that my Themes folder will have different letters and numbers after the "." so please put yours in there

5. enable the themes folder u cr8ted in winterboard and also the frost ls top theme

I have been reading all the posts here and have been trying to get this theme to work but still nothing is working. I downloaded the link at technouse and that just gave me the black screen with the ? box, then I tried the 4.2.1 link on page 9 and got the same thing.

I really want to get this theme but everytime I download it the html file is just a black screen with a image of torn paper?

How are people getting the lock icon instead of the default slide to unlock icon on the bottom of the screen? Also, how do you hide the "Slide to View" notification?

@jimmyroyals -- how are you downloading/installing the theme?

I don't understand your first question.
To hide "Slide to unlock", download "Slide to Unlock Killer", If you cant find it, Search on Google ;

@vinni30, or Somebody else, Can you Re-upload your modded LockBackground.html File to answer my question ?
-How can you put date like this : DAY NUMBER MONTH ?

Sorry for being unclear; some people had a picture of a "lock" instead of the three lines for the "Slide to Unlock" icon, and I was wondering how to get one. Thank you for answering my second question, mastery (:

;-; I used that file.. this is what I installed. Why isn't it working D: ? .. I have it enabled and I also even tried deleting the com.apple.TelephonyUI folder from Frost.. :c .. Srubber Bars is higher on the list of priority than Frost, but if I delete the folder, it becomes the default. If I keep it, it's just the old slider that comes with Frost

Edit: I also tried installing d0ink's Frost LS-Snow Animation.theme to see if it was my installation method.. but when I apply this theme, the lock also does not show up ): .. is it because I'm on a 3gen iTouch or iOS 4.1?

Also, this is the German file someone uploaded.. maybe it will help you

Try to remplace Frost bundle file with scrubbers bar files, inject scrubber bar to Frost.
Do a backup zip before.

I done it alone,
But i have a last question, look at the "CLEAR", how can i translate it or just write it like "Clear" ?
No capital letters... I need someone good at HTML.

I installed d0ink's Frost LS-Snow Animation.theme.. that one already has the scrubber bars within the theme.. so I think there is something weird with my iTouch..? I had my friend try it on his iPhone 4, and it worked for him ):

How did you get the Clear to show up?? O: .. and how did you get your day of the week, month, and day to appear together? It looks nice :3~

Hey,

When i don't have an internet connection, there's always the N/A instead of the weather icons

So, ist der any solution?

Any lockscreens are saving those information over the day (so i can also watch them while having no internet connection)
Or is it at least possible to erase the N/A?

hey i have iphone 4 4.3 and figured out how to change weather through the html but still cant get the background to work it keep showing a black screen with the little blue box and a "?" have tried the suggestions in this post but nothing seems to be working or im probly doing something wrong...can anyone give me a detailed how-to for this or work on my html or something?

great lockscreen! i've looked through all 10 pages but i''m still stuck on:
1. fixing the overlay at the bottom where the slider would be in, it doesnt want to leave and i dont know coding very much.
2. i've used the code you guys have provided but I get a black screen with question marks
3. is there any way to change the weather source from accuweather to yahoo weather or even the weather network? i tried doing it on my own, changing the source to yahooWeather and the var locale to the right number, but it doesn't work.

any suggestions on these?

I know I'm reviving an old thread, but I have this installed on 5.1.1 and it looks great, except for the missing weather icons. They're in the bundle folder, but they're not showing up on the lock screen. Has anyone else run into this issue before?
