SnowCover was born here on MacThemes so I thought this is the best place to have a thread where you can show of your ported or selfmade themes. Also you can ask theming related questions.

Some theming Info:
The easiest way to start, is to navigate to /Library/SC4Themes and grab a default theme.
Copy it to your mac/pc and open it. You'll see some files.
The Info.plist holds information like cover position, artist name and such.
As SnowCover4 uses NSStringFromCGRect(), the syntax is ({x,y},{w,h}).

BTW: iKon, Kubilay, MontyDesi and some other great artists are going to release their themes very soon. Stay tuned

Sorry for the confusion, but from now on all SC themes need their own release threads with these new tags:

[SC4 SD]
[SC4 HD]
[SC4 SD+HD]

If you are working on a theme, it goes in the WIP section just like any other theme until it is released. If you are porting from an older SnowCover or other theme, you need permission.

Last but not least, this is NOT a screenshot thread, post screenies in the proper thread unless it's to deal with support stuff.

Two things though, I'm using lockinfo and when snowcover is showing, the lockinfo headers gets "pushed up" a bit. Second, when album art is unavailable it doesn't show anything at all, even though the "SCNoArtworkImage.png" is in the theme folder.

@jjfreak, have a look in the /Library/SC4Themes/*******.theme folder and there should be a "SCBackground.png" there. Just replace it with your own background and name it "SCBackground.png".

Noob question: how the hell do I activate it? (3gs, IOS4.1)
I have tried to resize the defult themes and renameing them

kukki you need a sd theme. the snovcover4 donwload have only hd themes.

delete the @x2 at the end of the files and it should work .

I ported PHT Nano and am working on a custom PHT Not-So-Nano SC theme but am unable to get ahold of the orginal authors. Can I still release them?

I have a little problem myself, I have Lockscreen Clock Hide enabled, therefore, when I listen to music I can't see the time in Snowcover. If I disable Clock Hide my lockscreen will look nuts. Is there a way to work around this?

this might sound silly but what if I don't want the album covers - instead, I'd just like to be able to use the swipe gestures for volume, change track etc. ?

You could make a theme that sets the album art to 0px x 0px and make everything else transparent

@Ji Yeah I hear that. I've set LI to dismiss on a double tap of the Lockscreen clock so that it's easier to get rid of it when playing music. Not the best solution, but it works for now.
