nice work!!!

/System/Library/Frameworks/UIKit.framework/
I assume that this HD theme will work with 320x480 resolution because everything is doubled up in the packages... ie, "file name" x2.png and "file name".png ... and Winterboard will scale everything down?

The images labeled with no "@2x" are still retina images. So I doubt Winterboard will scale them down but don't hold me to that.

There is a SD version of this theme, the original Principium to be exact. If you're looking for the standard def theme, you should check that out.

I know, I've got it and the thread bookmarked... the "SD" version is not as supported as this and I was hoping that Winterboard would scale it down for me. Honestly the original version is mostly themed and only needs a few tweaks.

Do I have to create one of those artwork files to theme Cydia or is there another way?

Yeah, an .artwork file is needed to theme Cydia, iFile and anything else that disables MobileSubstrate.
@Justin R and everyone else
There really isn't any support for the SD version... and I have no idea how to create one of these artwork files... anyone mind modding the HD artwork file to theme Cydia in support of Principium SD?
@klouud Being honest with you mate, don't think its going to happen, because meakrus said not to (scale them down at least), and especially in this thread where most of us have iPhone 4's. You want it, you're probably going to have to do it yourself. Cheers.

yes, manually replace files in /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/TelephonyUI.framework

p.s. something neat coming up in a few days

Added even more of mreakus's glyphs. You probably won't notice.
Don't whine about how it doesn't work on your 4.0.x, this is made for 4.1 and .artworks are version-specific!

And to round it all out:

Copy green-dn@2x.png and green-up@2x.png into Cydia.app (don't remove the @2x, it's crucial)

meaning i can't use this for iphone 4 on 4.2.1? D:

stal888 wrote: ...and .artworks are version-specific!

Nope. Although I'm going to get stuck taking my phone back on Saturday to get a replacement, so if no one is maintaining a 4.2.1 version currently, I'll do it.

I would appreciate it mate, I'll help if I can.

lol sounds great, cant wait !
status update: deoptimizing images using ifile is boring :|

but only 25 to go.
I have a solution!

Go to Mac App Store.
Search Unretina. (It's freeee!)
Drag and drop images.
The end!

You're welcome. :)

early 4.2.1 support, but it's kinda... blue?

edit: here's my finished folder, it appears to be a problem with the artwork packager. also includes some half-finished video trim images.

Why on earth is that Blue?

On a related note, I finished putting Satiunet into Principium HD. I even made the call and power sliders for you guys from the original.

Updated first post to include some of the items the users have contributed and the LockScreen Satiunet.

The color of the status bar (especially in Photos) looks a little weird to me...is it normal?

I'm on 4.2.1 with beta3, by the way.

I'm having the same issue but I'm on 4.1 still. I think it may have something to do with the new Satiunet LockScreen included in the theme.

Yeah. I'm assuming that the Translucent_Base image is completely transparent as to allow the lockscreen to work right. That will make any other status bar that uses the Translucent_Base transparent, like the one in the Photos application.
The problem is mainly with the Satiunet lockscreen. The status bar is meant to be like that, so it suits the gradient of the BarLCD on the lockscreen. The statusbar also looks like that in the non-retina version of Satiunet.
Since 4.x, the same StatusBar image used on the Lockscreen, is used on the Springboard, and in the Photos app. There isn't much you can do about it to be honest.
