Latest release: V1.9 Compatible with iTunes 10.5
A very kind person by the name of Robert has put together a 10.5-compatible version of the theme! I believe it only changes the sidebar icons, but I may be wrong.
Enjoy, but please note that I haven't tested it out. Comments and feedback are welcome.

Oh, my saviour!

I'm a lurker here, but this deserves all my gratitude :-X
When I try to unzip the file shows me an error:

Also, I will be uploading new version frequently. If your download doesn't work, chances are you got it while I was uploading a new version! Wait 5 minutes, and try again.

Hope this helps :)
I noticed that the icons for smart playlists are the old ones for regular playlists, and the new regular playlist icons are unchanged.

Right on the first, wrong on the second.
Thanks for pointing this out, I missed the Smart Playlists being the same icon as regular playlists. My screenshot of beta 3 even shows that! However, the regular playlist icon is definitely the old one from iTunes 9.

It's 11pm in Australia, and I'm tired, so not thinking quite right. Sorry! I'll fix it tomorrow (my time).

Thanks, very glad you like it!

Pakito, thanks to you too :)
Wish there was a "quote multiple" button round here... Grr.
Mind giving a full screenshot? I may not even bother updating mine for 10. You beat me to the punch by a few days at the very least. :P

It displays the new one on mine too, you might want to double check it tomorrow... maybe you simply didn't upload the right file or something. Still, great job again.

BTW, I'm trying to toy around with the .rsrc file to bring back Susumu's sidebar icons (remember the good times on iTunes 8? http://macthemes.net/forum/viewtopic.ph ... 794062&p=5 ), but I'm simply too stupid to get it done :D *hint hint*
Looks great man :D

Edit: One request since you said is not complete, could we have the LCD in a gray color or blue?

the default LCD is horrible.

You are fantastic. This might make using iTunes bearable again. Any chance you could add the disclosure triangles back to the sidebar, or return the aqua checkboxes?
I don't mind the icon but I'm not keen on the greyness in the sidebar so it's good to have the colour back again, thanks.
James Cameron figured out how to change the stoplight style, so I whipped up this little app.
It allows you to revert back to the original stoplight position, or use the new one. This is how it looks:

I'm also experiencing this. Smart playlists are displayed as normal, normal playlists are still the iT10 grey.

I actually just want the icons back... Is there a way to leave the UI alone and just get the sidebar back?

Thanks in advance.

Personally, I like the iTunes 9/10 LCD. Unfortunately, the way Apple has changed it means I can't easily revert it. Therefore, I won't be putting it back. Sorry.

PS: I tried to once, and it looked really out of place, too.

Ok then, I'll have another look today sometime.

Also. Putting these sidebar icons to iTunes 9's is taking FOREVER, is hard work getting them all aligned, etc. Sorry, but I won't be doing more themes

There's not much more to see - you get a view of the non shiny chrome, and the sidebar, plus the icon is the old one throughout the app. Preferences have even been put back to old icons. I will screenshot it in full later today.

Somewhat unrelated, but thank you very much. I will look into this and ensure compatibility!

Trust me, don't wanna bother! What I have done has taken me over 4 hours! :|

Look, I'm not abandoning the theme. When I have time today, I WILL continue reverting the icons!
