Re: glassy 10.6 exposé highlight

I can swear I've seen that image in a screenshot before. Anyway, looks great, very Vista-y but in a good way, and worlds better than the default "5 seconds in MS Paint" border.

Awesome.  This explains that one thread.  This is exactly the same image as what was in that screenshot.

Re: glassy 10.6 exposé highlight

im sorry i thought it was self explanitory,

open your docks resources folder ( system/library/core services, then right click dock.app, click show package contents open contents/resources) then find the 2 blue files, and delete them then drag in the glass ones

It's probably better to make backups of the originals instead of deleting them. I always just add ".bak" to anything that I'm going to be replacing.

I also wasn't sure where to put these but I figured it out from your first screen shot. It really does look fantastic. So much better than the default.

Re: glassy 10.6 exposé highlight

Hey, how about doing one like this that looks just like the stacks. That would bring it all together. Thanks!

Kinda reminds me of the G4 iMac's clear plastic border around the screen.

This is great, because i always use the Os X 'graphite theme, and i was wondering why the expose borders weren't made graphite also, like the windowbullets.

Thanks!

+1 to userx suggestion.
Make design one like stacks, black with a little bit of opacity and white border.

edit: Is there a way to also add a transparent border to the text ballons that pops up when you hover your curser over the icons in dock?
