I have modified the Mac HUDz file set for OS X Snow Leopard (10.6).

Here is a download link to the resource files: http://rapidshare.com/files/246831726/1 … z.zip.html

Place the .nib files in /System/Library/CoreServices/loginwindow.app/Contents/Resources/English.lproj
Place the .tif file in /System/Library/CoreServices/loginwindow.app/Contents/Resources

You will want (but not NEED) to log out and log back in after replacing the files.

***THIS IS NOT TESTED ON ANY VERSION OF OS X OTHER THAN 10.6***

LOL why not? It was quite frustrating when I went looking for this kinda stuff for 10.6 on my own, so rather than just do it and let everyone else suffer, I might as well share my solution

(yes, yes, I know, developers and beta testers shouldn't care about visual elements, but hey, I do )

I don't have time to grab a full screenshot and blur out peoples names and stuff, but here's just the about this mac window.

As for the download, the file is at the link. If the link isn't working, blame rapidshare.

I recently did some spring cleaning of my system, and deleted the original (oops). I don't have a backup handy, but I can get it all together again once I get home later.

I had to recreate the Snow Leopard HUD theme from scratch using the inteface builder. Whee. Here we go:

GeekTool 3 (clock/interface info), my Snow Leopard (10.6) HUD theme, Bowtie with the RexCon2+ Theme, iTunes 8.2 with the Silent Night Theme by DaHLiA_7. Also a self-modded Adium 1.4b7 (to add more HUD features), using a modified RavenantModded (lol) Message style. "GlassyDock" dock, "-Basket-" Icons for stacks. There is more, but it's late and I don't remember it all.

EDIT: added better url for the image and made it clickypoppy for full size.

Note the date it was posted in June, two months ago from when it will be released. And I didn’t say no one has it. I said not a lot of people have it.
