I'm not talking about the background, that background is great! Just that shades on the "bar.png", "bar_collapsed.png" and so on's shades to fit the Matte UI so it fits more.
can anyone post a wallpaper.html whith wheater first of all instead the calendar please?
Qck wrote:Very nice theme, I like it a lot! Though i have a few problems; I still see the text "slide to unlock" (and "answer" etc.) and anything other than Clock+Weather are not showing. I've changed the limits in the .js file, but that didn't work. Is there anything I've overlooked?

i've also got this same problem and cant seem to get anything but the weather and time to display. "gruppled lockinfo 2" is at the top of my winterboard list and i do not have any other lock screen themes enabled. Also when trying to add the source http://david.ashman.com/beta or /apt, i get a "invalid source" msg from the installer.

from the screen shots this app has it all, i just wish i could get it to work right...
really like this with collapsible info from mail and sms. everything is working smooth combined with everything else I use, into one winterboard-applied theme, only thing I can't solve is making items I have now checked, disappear from lockscreen notifications.

great work, and thanks again!

The weather shows up because it's not based on LockInfo; it just pulls weather data from the internet itself. For the other stuff to show up, you need the LockInfo extension. I don't know why Cydia would tell you that source is invalid. Are you using Cydia (not Icy)?
The latest version of LockInfo slightly breaks the script, so I've updated the packages with working versions. Thanks to this update, collapsed sections remain collapsed (until the page is unloaded from memory).
Another update; read mail (etc.) will now be hidden correctly. Still waiting on a response from Stimpy about updating sections on lockscreen display rather than on unlock/lock.
ignore this post, fixed what i wanted in the lockinfo.css myself, excellent work sir...

like it like this...

Mk1 wrote:just another thought, i'm never the one to critique anything i couldn't do myself, but before items are expanded you have the text as the center justifier, and when expanded everything is left-aligned to the icon. maybe you could keep the icons as the straight column when not expanded. just a thought, and good luck with the lockscreen info extensions issues i know you're working on.

Thanks; i'm always open to ideas and critiques! I do actually have a reason for centering the main header text and left-aligning the subheader text. Since everything is laid out linearly, it can be difficult to find the main headers (Calendar, Mail, Weather, etc.) since there are subheaders (Today, Tomorrow, etc.). Having the main headers centered makes them stand out a bit, and therefore they're more easily distinguished from the subheaders, in my opinion. If you'd like to change this for yourself, you can just open the file css/lockinfo.css and in the section labeled ".header {" change "text-align:center" to "text-align:left;" and add "padding-left:15px;" in that same section.

I'm also working on making everything more visible when the background is very dark (like when the battery background is showing).

as you'll see from my edit ^^^ i discovered this and thank you, I see your point about the differentiation.

just one thing - calendar shows up with nothing inside, i have an event thursday, what should I see there?

Awesome! That does actually look pretty cool. My calendar is always full of stuff though, so it gets pretty complex.

I just updated the packages (LockBackground.html, js/lockinfo.js, and css/lockinfo.css). The calendar issue should be fixed. I changed the way sections are collapsed, and the new method is slightly less laggy. Also, things should be easier to see when the background is dark. Unfortunately, you'll have to make your changes to this new css file. Sorry =[
^^^
no doubt, way to stay on top your work, i'll give a try on wednesday, got a 14 hour work day tomorrow...

*** edit: couldn't sleep...

Awesome! Where'd you get the weather icons?

Edit: Upon closer inspection of your screen shots, i noticed the redundant "Missed Calls" subheader. I've updated the js/lockinfo.js file in the packages, so now that extra subheader is gone, and, individual SMS messages should be collapsible. However, since i don't have an iPhone, and i'm not exactly sure what the structure for the sms object is, it's not easy for me to test this. Would you mind letting me know how it works when you get a chance?

check PMs... good thing i go in at 2pm tomorrow. but an attractive iphone is worth it.
Gruppler, really great job, love this theme.

Quick question, I want to change some font size and font colors, specifically, I want to change the color of date entries in calendar, and make the appointment entries bold. This way, the calendar section is easier to read. Which part of the lock.css should I edit?

Thank you, ;)

Thank you very much! This work is very pleasing to me. .sub2 is the gray text, and .sub1 is the white text in an entry.

really feel like my phone is complete now. it's nice to be at work, and not think about what I plan on changing about the phone when i get home. theme-ing is an addiction, but i've got a fix now.

thanks again!

Ha! I know exactly what you mean. There will always be something you want to change, though, now that you have the mindset of a themer...
Hi!

I've been ghosting round the forum 4 a while now but not posted much. Gotta say i LOVE the theme. Best one out there 4 LockInfo no doubt!

However i have a slight issue. As u can see from the screen below, the background doesn't stretch over the entire lockscreen. Haven't seen this problem b4 and couldn't find a solution with my limited knowledge in CSS and HTML and 0 experience with JS. Any 1 got a solution to this?

Disable scrolling in both the config.js file and /var/mobile/Library/Preferences/com.ashman.lockinfo.plist. Since LockInfo is still in beta, scrolling mode in particular is still in its very early stages. For now, it's probably best (especially with the Tea Lockinfo theme) to keep scrolling turned off.
wonderful!

Worked like a charm! Thanx a bunch for the quick answer! You rock! ;)

of course you're right, but for now if it's anything it's very minor.

sorry to bother, but there is still a redundant missed calls sub-bar. i have no idea how you are able to do what you do without an iphone, but kudos to you, and take your time. Thank you very much! This work is very pleasing to me.

Hi, I did what you suggested, but the change is global for the whole section, rather than for each line. Here is what I mean:

If I have the following calendar entry,

Friday, May 01 (in 2 days) -------- I want to change the color of this line
Dinner Party -------- I want to make this line bold
7:00p-12:00a -------- I want to keep this line the way it is

Does this make sense? If I can make change for each line, that will be great! Is it possible? I love your theme, even if it is not possible to make the change.

Thanks,

Hmm, i can't see how there would still be a redundant missed calls subheader. Before, i had the "Missed Calls" header created in the Lockbackground.html file, and when that section was filled, another subheader was being created in the javascript. I removed the javascript one, so unless you're using an older version (maybe the packages weren't updated correctly) i have no idea what the problem is.

I just fixed alternating row colors to emails and slightly tweaked the display of all-day events a little. Also, i've made the weather icons bigger. So, update js/lockinfo.js and css/weather.css.

Oh yeah, and i moved the mail section above the calendar in Lockbackground.html. And i just noticed the config.js wasn't updated with non-zero limits for calls, voicemails, and sms's, so i fixed that. And i added the tick weather icon set. Ok, enough obsessive tweaking. I have real work to do.
