Yup. Any theme, any number of icons.

Re: [MS Extension] ReflectiveDock
I'm curious, how does this handle wiggling and re-arranging? I certainly hope a respring isn't required after each change, but a "true" live reflection that wiggles and moves as the icons do would probably be pretty memory-intensive.....

Planning on pushing it out via Cydia? Surely many repos will be contacting you soon. Looking forward to playing with this in the morning.
Yes, as soon as I figure out how to get someone to host it. ;-)

It fully supports wiggling and moving the icons. It does NOT require a respring with each move. It's actually pretty efficient how the iPhone handles the icons. It renders and caches them so they only need to redraw on certain events. I've noticed no memory or performance issues with this extension.

You'll need to use your SCP application of choice first (WinSCP, CyberDuck, etc) to get it on your phone. Once it's there, you can use SSH from your computer OR mobile terminal to run the install command. I'll have it up on Cydia in the next day or two so the install process will be easier.

Works wonderfully! MUCH nicer than having to edit stuff to match your theme and icon order.

Download: http://david.ashman.com/reflectivedock_ … os-arm.deb
To Install:
1. SCP reflectivedock_1.0_iphoneos-arm.deb to any directory on your iPhone/iPod.
2. Run "dpkg -i reflectivedock_1.0_iphoneos-arm.deb" in the same directory that you uploaded it.
The package will install a configuration file /User/Library/Preferences/com.ashman.ReflectiveDock.plist where you can tweak some settings for the reflection. NOTE: I have not written pre and post install scripts to backup and restore your configuration so each install will overwrite the plist right now.
Post screenhots of you SB so I can see how it looks with different themes!
Special thanks to Sakurina for his help getting started with MobileSubstrate extensions and Saurik for... well... MobileSubstrate.
hello
please share your dock ?
thank's
bye

Re: [MS Extension] ReflectiveDock
Can someone write a compreensive guide?
Here's what I've done. I pasted the file on my iPod Touch's root file, tried to run the code in MobileTerminal (just the code, nothing more after or before) and it says "reuqested operation requires superuser previlege". I changed the previleges to 777 but it didn't work.

before you run the code, you have to log in as root:
type "login", enter
type "root," enter
type "alpine", enter
navigate to root (if that's where you put the file) type "cd /"
NOW enter the code
