Parth, I consistently love your stuff.

I'm using both this one and subzero in my dock and they don't seem to align....

Any chance you'll fix this?? :)

I noticed this too, it is because Mars is smaller then Earth
Woah thanks everyone! :). Glad everyone liked it.

Hmm never realized that. I'll update the version to make them aligned. In reality Mars is smaller than Earth ,but then it would be hard to visualize that clearly at 128pix and smaller, especially when they are near each other. As a result, the best way is to just make them roughly the same size for usability sake. I will fix the alignment though. Sharp spotting! ;)

LOL, that's what I thought. If there was any chance you'd do more planets I figured Earth would end up as a 32px amongst 128px planets ;) To resolve that it would be best to make the planets roughly the same size, which would look best in everyday use in docks and such.

They look fantastic though in the dock! thanks Parth

Any chance we could get this in a wallpaper pack like you did for Subzero?
I was actually just going to post about the alignment of the two planets, but also about the height of the icons in relation to most others:

It seems the icons "start" a few pixels higher than most icons on my dock. This could certainly be my OCD, but I didn't know if it was intentional or not.

Other than that, I absolutely love them. Firefox/Safari for me right now!
Well, in reality the Earth is larger than Mars.
I'm a bit speechless on this one. Perfect execution .Parth!
As I said at DA site, awesome reality
Thanks.
Thanks again everyone. I re-aligned the 128pix version only, since that's the version most people are going to be seeing. There is still a small difference in size on the 32pix size, but that's only to differentiate the planet icons from one another when viewed together, besides taking into account just the color.

The reason why it might be a bit different in the lower alignment from the usual icons is due to the shadowing that's applied at the bottom. I realized this is important to making the icon look 3D, and so there is actually shades of gray in what otherwise appears to be empty. :)
Unbelievable. I'm going to have to find a use for this where I can see it often.
Perfect for MarsEdit and SubZero for NetNewsWire.
Thanks Parth! They align!! :D
Bring on the milkyway!!
