[Theme] Picnic
Hi,
After being banned for a week
I finally was able to release my theme in progress..
From what i've see not too many people have successfully made a theme that wasn't a rounded square with a glyph on it sort of vibe..
I wanted to do something different, i thought it would be cool if each icon was represented more literally with characters.. It's called picnic..
I'd appreciate any tips, comments, observations and advice.. Don't hesitate or pull any punches..
OLD OUTDATED PICTURE ONCE WENT HERE
Should i continue?
UPDATE 16/10/2008
As you can see dispite everyone telling me not to
I continued. Big thanks to everyone who commented on this thread..

*gasp* This is so cool! Kind of reminds me of Snood... I like how you've made each one represent the icon it's for! Really creative, really different, and really looking forward to further icons.

This is a great idea! I am concerned, though, that it will be difficult to make many more icons.

Thanks everyone.. Once i get the main icons going well, i'm sure the community will help out.. Anyone got anything to say about the design aspect of the actual icons? Maybe too plain? Not sharp enough? Please give specific critique..

It would be pretty hard to make icons for this theme, but it looks nice i guess.

Frickin' SWEET. I'd like to see how you'd do one for something like Aurora Feint, or Tris... and a Monkey Ball icon would be so fun!

^ I couldn't say any better. This forum has some of the best designers working. This will spark some creativity and give them options to go wild. I really like it! I would like the engraving for the eys and mouth to be a little more clean though.

But since each icon will have eyes, might have to sharpen that
Thanks, what should i sharpen the eyes, or the entire icon??
