I had the same problem but managed to solve it.

All you have to do is go into ressources. Delete the "PlayOff.tiff"-button (the one that keeps annoying you, you can also back it up if you want) and then find the new "black Play button" which should be there somewhere and rename it "PlayOff.tiff".

@mogz & aaiko; looks like a movie without audio, the graphic equalizer is not showing. In this case QT scaling the progressbar otherwise. I can not fix this, is not a bug, its a QT characteristic. My mod use additional graphics for the progressbar, if the graphic equalizer is not active the graphic resources don't match anymore.

Having a problem with music files.

Nevermind I tested it first with mp3 files, the problem doesn't exist with movies (which is only what I use quicktime for).

Oh I see. Np it's just me actually, I usually hide the equalizer. Guess I have to let it show up this time then..

Your old blackpearl mod is fine with hiding the equalizer though.

One thing I don't get...
the readme sez to place the nib files into the English.lproj folder.
I instead placed the two folders from the nib folder (QTPMovieWindow.nib and QuartzCompWindow.nib) into resources, replacing the same named folders (after backup!) and it works flawlessly.
I have a feeling that if I placed the files from in the folders into English.lproj, they 1) would replace what is there and 2) the second set would replace the set I just put in, as they all have the same names; and keyed objects, classes, info.
I'm assuming that this is just a readme you used form another mod and used the wrong one?

Looks great. I was using vol 1.this is even smoother

I don't see what you mean, its the same readme with Vol. 1, nothing has changed in the meantime, neither QT nor the readme file. Graphics -> drop -> Resources Folder, Nib's -> drop -> in the language.lproj folder of your choice.

As am I. I use QT to listen to streaming Internet radio also, so no video window. I've reloaded Vol.1 which does not suffer from this malady.
