This is the lastest update...just updating this treat from now on....i've been making new tread for every update but decided to keep this as the official updated tread...

That's not because of ziphone
but because of people using ziphone on
ipods when ipods were not supported.

Confirmed working on an iPod touch OOTB 1.1.2, 8 GB, upgraded to 1.1.3, using iTunes 7.6 (yes, it is a 7.6), iBook G4 12" 1.33, Leopard 1.5.2. Used the very clear (duh...) and straightforward tutorial from iClarified.com , took 2 min to jailbreak it, no flaws, no fuss, no mess... Me thinks Zibrie deserves a cookie... 
BTW: I´m in Brazil, so no new apps for me, except that now I have it!!!! Even Youtube and Google maps working, amazing...

is it just me or there is no OSX version for ziphone 2.4? Only windows exes are included in the zip file

I always get this error when I try to jailbreak my iPod touch:
BSD Root: something somethingsomething...
and then it repeats forever... I got my iPod touch when they first came out (16GB) and am using ZiPhone on a MacBook running Leopard.

I'm pretty positive this one still doesn't work on the first 16GB iPod touches.... I've tried it atleast 10 times.
EDIT: Make that atleast 11 times... I just tried again and failed...

Oh and SERIOUSLY? Rapidshare? COME ON... they go to great lengths to make it a pain in the ass to share ANYTHING.
Mediafire.com and megaupload.com are FAR better.
