Re: [RSRC] iTunes style scrollbars for Leopard (update).
Damn! I can't find where are the list headers resources in Extras.rsrc! I changed the resources called "List Header" but it doesn't change nothing... Anyone has an idea here? :-)

Yeah already tried. Don't think Apple is getting the list headers from the Extras.rsrc.
*sigh*
Try changing the checkmark buttons too.
Like I said, 10.5 is in a in-between stage.
Apple. ![]()
I had a head start on doing this than the original OP. I even have the small scrollbars done and finished. I am about ready to give it out because I think that is all that is left that we CAN modify. Me and swiz have been working on and talking about this for about a month. He is working on the Extras2.rsrc I believe. We are still talking about it.

Alright, I've pasted the Extras2.rsrc into the directory you said in the text file, but so far I'm not seeing any changes.
Is there something else I am supposed to do?

1. Back up the original extras.
2. Trash the original extras.
3. Move/copy the new extras.
4. Log out/in.
Won't work with overwriting. ![]()

Love it! It's a bit blurry around the edges though, the original iTunes scrollbars are more crisp:
Hope for an update! ![]()

I'm sorry to inform you but when I tried the delete -> paste Recourses2 method, I was unable to log back in and had to reinstall my OS.
Please do this with caution!

I think they took out the scrollbars from the theme TenFive. That's probably why they're not exactly the same. I think the original itunes scrollbars looked better too.

Thanks to Roosta, I finaly understood that Leopard still uses Extras(2).rsrc files. I made my own version of it using an old version of "MyTenFive" (originaly from Austin Heller's TenFive) to get iTunes style scrollbars in Mac OS X 10.5. Blue and graphite versions included, read the Readme.rtf file.
Here is the file: http://www.abitbol.org/macosx/Extras.zip
... and here is the preview:

It works with all of them. Don't forget to reboot or at least logout from your session.

Nice, not my style, but I like it. You forgot one resource though, iTunes has a grayish matching square for the white space on the bottom right between the two scroll bars.

That's right but I can't find the resource I have to change to have a gayish square in that place ![]()

Delete the existing .rsrc (remember to back it up first) then place the mod .rsrc into the originals location, now re-start ![]()
