Go ahead and flame me for posting such a bright theme, i'm still going to do it.

//oh and http://wearyellow.com/ . In case you didn't know Wear Yellow is the slogan of Lance Armstrong, a cancer survivor and winner of Tour de France. Purchases of LIVESTRONG bracelets go to the Lance Armstrong foundation that supports cancer research. $1 for one bracelet in Nike stores. Available in packs of 10s and up on the nike website.
Cool concept... I like it... I'll wear some sunglasses when using it though
I like the idea more than the execution, its burning mah eyes lol. Maybe if you toned down the brightness......and I know this is still a mockup but I would defringe the close/min/max widgets or glyphs or whatever theyre called

PostScriptum: I still have my livestrong bracelet, I just don't wear it anymore :O
Yeah that is a bright theme, although still cool nonetheless
You got a unanimous "Oh good lord!!!" exclamation from the entire Unsanity hotel room at MWSF. :)

I think the pink background is what was making our retinas sizzle, though.

Anyway, I'm interested to see how it turns out!
AHHHHH!!! MY EYES!!!

Personally I could never use it.
nice idea... but i'm agree with NetworkShadow.. this theme is little tooo.. light
Well, the lines are badly anti-aliased. You can tell you selected them with the magic wand and filled them in. Also, Lance Armstrong is a super-bloated fathead. He is living a bad life right now. I would never wear one of those ugly yellow "status symbols". Nice idea though.

Don't mean to be rude but it looks like you just recolored the Mockup from the last MT.net contest. I'd recommed using Max's Theme templates as they're correct in size and not as "tempting" as the ones posted here. ;)

Cheerz.
I just starred at that mockup too long and can no longer see...

@Gena: I use the pen & shape tools, so it should not have anti-aliasing problems. Maybe Photoshop just can't stroke correctly...

@[ idle. ]: I cannot locate templates at maxthemes.com.

Yes I used the templates from phill's post but they were not recolored, i drew them myself. I am thinking about dulling the white a little bit, but I am not going to change the color because that defeats the purpose of this theme. I might make a pink variation that would resemble the pink rubber braclets that you can buy that support breast cancer.

Don't mean to start something either, but you are right Idle. It does look very similar to the mock up from last years contest.....
err i just said that i downloaded the templates in phill's post...

Sorry miss that post ;)... If you said you made them why not make the metal variant?
This "bright" theme idea has potential, but you should make it more three-dimensional than it is now. The flatness of the buttons and other controls right now are what's making it so strange.
Sweet bejezzus, that's yellow.

errr i don't get what you mean :
Wow. That's a lot of yellow.
O.O

...yellow...lots of it.

*closes eyes*

I can still see it!

Anyway, I like the idea, just not sold on the execution. What about tossing in some of the other colors from his jersey? Maybe some blues or blacks or something to offset that yellow a bit? It IS a bit strong after all. While keeping the strength is important, making it a tad bit more palatable could also be useful, if for no other reason than to not blind us whenever we load this page.
