You're welcome! My current website background have been done by assembling multiple grass/lawn textures, some photoshop effects, and some time wink

Re: Wood Patterns/Wallpapers

Well, it seems that it is, but there are hundreds of releases of the same thing, from all different authors.  Not sure what to say . . .

Re: Wood Patterns/Wallpapers

Perhaps you should have listened to me? Just because hundreds of people do the same thing doesn't make it right, dave--o I'm pretty surprised you don't remember the original thread about this whole wooden tile thing when a mod made completely the opposite statement. The tile is copyrighted, therefore any wallpaper released using the tile breaks copyright.

It's ok - I asked Henri Liriani and he's fine with that. Credited him in the readme included.

Re: Wood Patterns/Wallpapers

I didn't make the pattern pppl its a damn picture!

Mod edit after explanation: Henri took the photo and digitally manipulated it in Photoshop so it was more suitable for websites and wallpapers.

So who did? hmm

I would like to find out the original author of the wood so that we can settle this debate on infringement once and for all. Wasn't it original used on someone's website?

Komi, I think that Henri is saying that he didn't 'digitally' create this wallpaper, he simply took a photo.

If this thread could be cleaned after the debate is over, much appreciated.
