Re: [Theme, Icons, Walls] Vitae *Installers*
This is a very nice theme. And this is my first post.
First off, thanks for this great theme, really
!
Now, is it possible to get the Safari's refresh-button that you have done, just as a separate .icns file?
Why you ask? So I can replace "Refresh Finder" application's icon so it matches the Vitae icon... otherwise I have to use the default refresh-icon / aqua ![]()
Cheers

I know, I know. Bumping is bad form.
But I'm positively itching for the installers, Vitae'd look so much better with the window borders that are present on installer-based themes.

If you have Vitae installed, then look in the ~/Library/Caches folder for ShapeShifter -> Mods - *random number* and see if you can't find the Safari refresh icon. It will be in the form of a .tif or .tiff.
I think you could also use an app which name is the opposite of guiKit -> tikiug. Find it via Google or something. This app will extract the contents of a guiKit file.
But the Caches folder is where all the magic happens.

Re: [Theme, Icons, Walls] Vitae *Installers*
After a much longer time then I had expected, the Installers are now available. They include installers for iTunes, Mail, Safari and iChat. There is no uninstaller. Sorry. I suggest using Uno's or Cat's uninstallers, although I have not tried them myself.
I would just like to apologize for the delay in releasing these. I've gotten incredibly busy since June, and haven't had much spare time.
I also have to announce that I will not be able to be an active part of the GUI community anymore. There are a number of reasons, but mostly it is that I am going to be focusing on pursuing some design educating that will take a lot of time. I may still pop up here and there, but my activity, as it already is, will be severely decreased.
I would like to thank all my friends and this community. It has helped me a good deal to become the GUI designer I am now.
Thank you,
Dan

Cheers for the installers. I didn't try the GUIKit, but now seems like a great time to get in on Vitae.
We'll definitely all miss you. You're a really great designer, so it's only rightful that you should pursue such an area. All the things that you've produced for the community have been quality works.
I wish you good luck in your endeavors. ![]()

Just so you know, Dan.... Qure, Cold, and Vitae are, by far, some of my favorite themes ever. You're one of the reasons I became so interested in customization, especially on the guiKit end.
We'll miss you and your releases... stop by every now and then, mkay? ![]()

Seriously though, I'm said to see you go. You have grown (in design skills) immensely here IP and I'd like to say I took a healthy part in doing that. ![]()
I hope you won't be too much of a stranger. Thanks for the GUI goodies and great work as always ![]()
