Hey people. I'm moved into a new house and we got UPC broadband. Which is very fast from where i used to live.

When I browse the web with Safari it is extremely slow. Slower than loading the desktop Facebook site on my iphone!
BUT when i download a file via torrent client or other downloaders it's reaching 2.6mB/s.

At home i only ever reached 200kB/s and safari was fine.

This is the same mac as I used in both houses.

Question: why is downloading so fast and Safari browsing soooooo slow??
try emptying your Safari cache and clear the History list

Edit: remove Safari from being the default rss reader, how to:

hit command ,(commer) or from the menubar select Safari - Preferences - RSS - default RSS reader: make it mail or some other app
