Sorry Tjdyo here are the image names you wanted to know:

UIButtonBlackTranslucentBackground.png = Safari previous Next bar background
UIButtonBlackTranslucentBackgroundSmall.png = Safari previous Next bar background landscape

These below are used by Mobile Safari when filling in forms, but are used by other apps like Photos:

UISegmentBarBlackButton.png = Previous/Next buttons
UISegmentBarBlackButtonHighlighted.png = highlight the Previous/Next buttons (doesn't work in Mobile Safari)
UISegmentBarBlackMiniButton.png =Previous/Next landscape buttons
UISegmentBarBlackMiniButtonHighlighted.png = highlight the Previous/Next Landscape buttons (doesn't work in Mobile Safari)

these below are the button dividers for the images above

UISegmentBarBlackDivider.png = Portait
UISegmentBarBlackDividerHighlighted.png = Portait
UISegmentBarBlackMiniDivider.png = Landscape
UISegmentBarBlackMiniDividerHighlighted.png = Landscape

UINavigationBarBlackTranslucentButton.png = Autofill button
UINavigationBarBlackTranslucentButtonPressed.png = Autofill button highlight
UINavigationBarMiniBlackTranslucentButton.png = Autofill landscape button
UINavigationBarMiniBlackTranslucentButtonPressed.png = Autofill landscape highlight

UINavigationBarBlackTranslucentBackground.png = photos top bar behind (Albums) Portait
UINavigationBarMiniBlackTranslucentBackground.png = Landscape

I can't find the plus button yet

Added string (boolean) to info.plist -- "UIPrerenderedIcon" "on/true" and respring/reboot

It worked the first time I rebooted, but I can't seem to get it to work again... iPhone 3GS 4.1 limera1n

Do I need to dump the icon cache?

EDIT

I dumped the icon cache and it worked like a charm - no icon gloss!!!! Whoo hoo!!!

hey cloud, can you post the Exact wording you added? I tried this and failed on 4.2.6 (basically the same as 4.2.1) and to which .plist you added it too? (I tried the .plist in the theme folder before you get into any subfolders)

thanks, this is something i've been looking for for a while
^ You have to do this app by app. Use AppLink (in Cydia) to make a list of apps and then use iFile to navigate to the AppLinks folder then go to each app that auto-glosses the icon. You go into that app's info.plist and add the above string exactly how I posted it in my last post.

It takes some time... but it works. There should be a WinterBoard workaround for this... but no one seems to want to cough up the info.

I agree, That was my next step as only about 15 icons have the problem ( all ones I've customized that came from the actual app store).

I can't actually try it until prob. next weekend bt i'll let you know if I have any trouble :) Also, for other readers you can use a ssh program like winscp and a .plist editor for a free solution (also easy to backup the original .plist this way as you already have it on your PC). And going into /user/library/applications will give you a list of all your apps (though they aren't as pretty as applink, all in random numbers and letters until you go into the folder) (or going into your icon cache where each icon and it's WB location is named).

EDIT*** works great tx klouud

Ok some of my icons have non-rounded corners

they seem to be the ones that only show in my /var/stash/applications.r2ucrw

the ones that have their folders under /var/mobile/applications are all rounded

speifically

Unlimitones
terminal
both perpage icons
and the gamecenter one

any help would be appreciated, maybe it's a info.plist thing? (I haven't edited any of the ones having problems info.plist)
^ Cydia and default icons do not add gloss and are standard 59x60 sizes. It is difficult to get the 59x60 icons to line up correctly with the 57x57 ones. I push the 59x60 ones down one pixel and this almost corrects the problem.
@klouud

not quite understanding what your saying.
Do you mean because they are cydia apps and their size is slightly different the iphone won't auto corner them? Because game center isn't a cydia app and it has the same problem.

I think due to the low number of apps having an issue I can just research the radius of rounding and apply it in photoshop to the icon files rather than depend on the phone to apply the rounding for them.
How do I theme these 3.1.2 UI images in 4.1 (SD)?

INC_Base
INC_Glow
INC_BaseWirelessModem
INC_GlowWirelessModem
INC_BaseWorkout
INC_GlowWorkout

In 3.1.2 they went in Theme/Bundles/com.apple.springboard
Anyone know how to change or where I can find the horryble white arrow of the cydia tweak "picture me"...??

many Thank you very much! This work is very pleasing to me.!

I'm only guessing that Recording_Base.png and Recording_Glow.png are used for INC_BaseWorkout and INC_GlowWorkout because they are the only red bars I could find :-!

@alago_tv the image is called fbwhite.png and fbwhite@2x.png and goes in:

/Library/PictureMe_Resources

location of saved states for gpsPhone on 4.1 3GS
I've got a couple of questions. Not sure if they belong here, but it's still worth asking.

First one: The volume slider needs to move up a few pixels. How do I fix that?

Image

Next one: I've got a couple of web icons on my homescreen. I did the whole ThemeName/Folders/xxxxxxxxx.webclip thing, and it works, except for this.

Image

Last question: When I open a folder, all the icons on that page get all jumbled up and transparent. I wouldn't mind this quite so much if it would show my themed icons. Is there any way to change this?

Image

Edit: I went through this entire thread today, and apparently I need to use the bundles method to fix this. I am totally not looking forward to converting my method but I'm gonna go ahead with it.

Thanx man! One more thing: I need a pre-themed UI theme for Remote.app. It doesn't matter what theme it is... I just need a template to use to update Principium SD.

thanx

Anyone know the location of the text for in call test right below the name of the person your calling?

It's the text that says

"calling..."

then shows the call duration in an ascending timer

then says "call ended"

where is this text located? couldn't find it in springboard strings (i'll post a screenie if i get a chance)

Also, I edited the "timer done" text (that is displayed when your timer's time is up) in springboard.strings. This change is not reflected though. This springboard.strings the correct place to edit this text? Is there some cache that I should delete? All the other text edits i've done show correctly.

"calling..." is in the SpringBoard.strings file look here:

/System/LibraryCoreServices/SpringBoard.app/your language

edit it with a text editor and search for calling...

for 'call ending' and call ended" head to:

/private/var/stash/Applications/MobilePhone.app/your language

and edit the InCall.strings

@ dsg thanks

I found the calling... it got changed to calling.. somehow. Anyways, I changed it to Contacting... and it did not reflect the change on respring. any ideas why?
