This is a lockscreen based on Typophone 4 by Angelman8. (I have his permission to release this)

I love Typophone 4, but I thought I might be able to use the same concept and design something a little more compact and not so in your face. When I designed this lockscreen I wanted the attention to be on the time and numeric date, but still giving the other information as well and keep the very modern, elegant look.

I made this for the iPhone 4, but since I used Typophone's base, if you can use it on a 3G/3GS, then you can use this on those too. I don't have a 3G or 3GS so I couldn't test it myself.

I hope you enjoy it.

To use your own wallpaper, set it in Settings, then respring to have it show up in the lockscreen.

I'm putting this here because it has been asked so many times. If you get a flashing 88:88 and a black screen with a question mark, here is how to fix your problem.

Put your wallpaper in the same place as your html, and name it like that. Also remove the wallpaper you managed to show, because it will load twice,

For right now, that is the only way to fix it until I can get a chance to upgrade to 4.2.1 and see what has changed.

Sorry I don't have any invites on there. Thanks for the heads up about the .psd, I'll delete it and that should save on file size.

Great Lockscreen theme!!! ..just like gzkite stated, if you can incorporate a weather display into this... I'll be switching to this theme from SlantedLock!

Downloaded and did some editting, looks perfect on my iPhone 4, one thing is towards the end @ the minute of the time displayed, i noticed blinking at the end. it's like refreshing or counting or something.

but nevertheless very nice!

Had a bit of trouble getting the wallpaper to display on Ipod 1g 3.1.3.

Just if anyone else having trouble, on the css i had to change the line:
background-image:url('/private/var/mobile/Library/SpringBoard/LockBackground.jpg');

to simply:
background-image:url('LockBackground.jpg');

Not sure why you put the source of it there, but it must be a bit different for the more up to date OS

Getting a weird error of dots just to the right of the time. Just zoom in to see. Very evident on the screen.

Can't really see what you mean. Can you post a bigger example and highlight where the problem is because zooming in just pixelates the image

I think I know what that is, I updated the files in the original post. Let me know if that doesn't fix it. Also, a bigger screen shot would help.

Which wallpaper? Right now it is set to use the wallpaper you chose in Settings.

Oh ok thanks.. it's just when i use settings and set a wallpaper it didn't change.. but i just did a re-spring after changing wallpaper and that seems to have worked.

I have the same problem here. Just a few dots which are blinking on the right side of the time.

:/ I can also see the flashing dot at the edge of the screen to the right of the clock.
