Hey Glasklart-users and contributors!
As you know, Glasklart hasn't been updated in ages. It just grew into too big of chore to collect the icons from this thread. Despite my neglect, it has continued to thrive, which is great! It shows people really enjoy it.

A bright guy named Jeff Felchner approached me with the suggestion of using GitHub rather than MacThemes forum. It would offer a number of benefits, including:
* Free for open source
* Fine-grained user control over who can modify the project
* Anyone can submit new icons for consideration
* A tarball of the current state of the project is always available at a single URL with no need to do anything, ie no manual collecting of icons
* Better organization of which requested icons have yet to be finished
* Users can search issues to see if an icon has already been discussed/added

The potential roadblocks are as follows:
* Current contributors would have to get a Github account (it's free)
* Anyone who modifies the project would need to learn some basic Git. There are some very nice GUIs out there that would make it easier.
* Github currently does not have a file uploader when submitting issues. You can link to a file and it will show up (via Dropbox, CloudApp, etc) but you can't click "Upload" and select the file from your hard drive. Additionally, images will show up as an image and not as a link.

For this to work, we have to abandon posting icons to MacThemes.net.

It would be fantastic if those of you who have kept your Glasklart installation up-to-date would submit existing icons! The starting point is the current version available from Cydia, which is not even fully iOS 5 compatible.

Please go to the Glasklart HD repository set up by Jeff and read the excellent introduction to posting icons:

Good work max, gonna have a look.
awesome work dude!
good work!
Thanks, very good work, looks very slick :D
thanks, my favorite theme finally comes to ios4
Glad to see this on the iPhone 4. But is there any chance of a template coming around soon? ;)
He can't theme third party apps right now, there would be no need for a template.
this theme is beautiful awesome job man. I'm excited for more icons to be released for iPhone 4!
Max, can you release the folder icon for Glasklart HD for 3GS/3G users? I was going to re-size it to 3GS/3G myself, but I couldn't find it in your theme. Thx.
You can theme 3rd party apps, you simply need to create a folder for them.

And you simply don't understand.

Of course you can theme them, but they don't look like they should for this theme. iOS "underlays" a black image, and when your theme is transparent white you should see why that wouldn't work.
Can someone PLEEEEASE make these HD/Retina compatible? with the correct names and folder locations too?
i would really really appreciate it :D :

Jeeze this is complicated. Haha. How in the world do I know what's what in this? Is there some better way to look at a .plist?

If you can install the developers tools there is a plist editor included. I know there are alternate editors you can download as well.

This is what Saurik suggests:
In general, the way you figure out the bundle identifier of a bundle is to open its Info.plist file and read the key for CFBundleIdentifier. This can be done using the Property List Editor tool on a Mac or by using either Apple's (desktop) or Erica's (on-device) plutil to convert the file to XML

Great. Thanks. That's much better. I'll start working on a few. I'm putting the ones you already made in the templates on my phone right now to try to get the hang of that. Thanks for all your work, and glad I can enjoy Glasklart again. :D
In your read me, you state to replace the "com.apple.mobileicons" folder inside /Library/Themes/Glasklart HD.theme/Bundles/. I don't have a file named the same. Are you referring to the "com.apple.mobileicons.framework" folder? If so, do I add ".framework" to the new folder to replace it?

I'm assuming you do need to, because I ran into the same thing. Adding ".framework" and overwriting fixed it.

@Max: I'm having trouble replacing the Flight Control icon. I have com.firemint.flightcontrol in the Bundles folder and added the Icon@2x.png, just like I did with BeejiveIM (which worked). When I respring the icon isn't themed. What am I doing wrong? EDIT: Nevermind. I had to go in winterboard and un-check, then re-check Glasklart HD.
