Tetra for iPhone 4
iPad and smaller resolution iPhone and iPods to be supported later
After talking about this theme for quite some time and putting in work since the announcement of the iPhone 4, the time has finally come for the general release of the most unified, classically-inspired theme available.
My goal, as stated, was to create a theme that we could all use that borrowed some ideas from working metaphors and concepts and apply them liberally with new ones. With at least one alternate icon per app, I've aimed to allow a great deal of variation within these icons and let you choose what goes on your iDevice.
You'll see some older concepts, some borrowed concepts, some concepts never seen before, but altogether, I hope you enjoy what I've delivered to you today.
This theme, of course, is free, but donations are certainly appreciated and would encourage me to keep expanding this set and support it for much longer than just today. That means more icons from me, and more of your apps unified into one fun theme.
Templates will be released later on, as I'd still like to attack some games and third-party apps that I know a great deal of you use. I can make a hell of a race car in vector format for Real Racing, but not if I'm beaten to the punch.
Lastly, I'd like to give thanks and credit where it's due:
Dustin Schau, Louie Mantia, David Lanham, Adrian Kenny, Robert Alistair, Rickie Williams -- thank you all so much for allowing me to take influence from your beautiful works of art. You're all remarkable people and deserve to be honored regularly for your contributions.
Shawn Wilkins, Matt Reakus, Klein Maetschke, Jeff Broderick, Elias Keppens, Kris Mendoza -- thank you all for your critiques, support, and feedback throughout this process.
Lastly, to all of my buddies who have been monitoring this theme's progress and bugged me on Twitter about it since the end of June, this is for you! Thanks and enjoy!
