[UI & Icon] Google Chrome Mod
I decided to modify what I could for Chrome. The code didn't let me gradient the glyphs or change the button backgrounds. So this is all I could do. Also modded the icon to show slightly more OS X like colors.

Amazing! Just what I needed after I started using Chrome ![]()
by the way, does anyone know if it's possible to mod the folder icons used in the bookmarks bar?

Perfect, thank you!
Would there be any chance of an updated home icon for the toolbar? The current one looks a bit out of place with the smaller glyphs.

Re: [UI & Icon] Google Chrome Mod
Such a shame that all those browser makers insist on using their own non-standard interfaces.

Re: [UI & Icon] Google Chrome Mod
Looks fantastic, tempts me to go back to Chrome. One question though, are the new bookmark dropdowns modded? Those are what made me leave Chrome because they look so bad.

Re: [UI & Icon] Google Chrome Mod
Thanks guys
I'll make a completely new Chrome icon when I get some time. I don't like the original one at all!
Updated the first post with a Home button plus a Speeddial extension menubar icon mod.

Re: [UI & Icon] Google Chrome Mod
Great work! (As usual.)
But... You missed the "Home" button on the toolbar.
Please consider a replacement for that one too.
Thanks!

Go to users > yourusername > application support > google > chrome > extensions
then search for the speed dial extension and find the file.

Re: [UI & Icon] Google Chrome Mod
Wonderful release!
For those looking for nicer 'new tab' button, personally I just make the default icon 0% alpha so it disappears until mouse-over. Some one posted a personal mod of the new tab button from Safari 4, but I've been too lazy to do the same. I really only use ⌘ + T to create new tabs anyways, so I don't mind not being able to find the hit box with my mouse. I do the same thing with the close tab X's, as I close tabs with ⌘ + W too.

Very nice! Unfortunately I still can't use Chrome active because there's no Java support... ![]()
