The Definitive Mod App List II

As per Streza's ancient thread from 2005... yikes

Since this is the ultimate Mac modding site EVAR, I feel it's appropriate to put together a list of apps used for modding anything on OS X.  Whether it's the entire GUI, the Dock, the menu bar, the boot panel, anything that would fall under "GUI Customization" should be included here.  No matter how obvious or obscure, how popular or niche, any app you can use should be included.

Please include a name, the name of the distributing company, and a download link.

Go!

Please only post software that is to be used with leopard or snow leopard. It must also be released and not in beta.

Re: The Definitive Mod App List II

Alright, I'll take the obvious ones. lol

Themepark 4 from Geekspiff - For UI resource modding and applying.
Candybar from Panic - For icon and dock modding
Bowtie from 13bold - Very customizable iTunes controller
Geektool from Tynsoe - Power user desktop enhancement
Adium from the Adium Project - A must for any IM-using UI-modder.

That's the list I hand people anyway.

Filebrowse.  An alternative to the Finder. Been using this for some time, and it's pretty nice. 25$ though.

Re: The Definitive Mod App List II

If someone could help me, this would be absolutely great. I was looking through the list and came across the Menu Bar Tint app, found here http://manytricks.com/menubartint/ and sadly found out that when you quit, it doens't turn your menubar back to normal when it's not in transparency mode.

I'm no expert at this stuff, and don't know how to get the regular gray menubar back, what I have now is a flat white semi transparent one. I've tried reinstalling SL, no help. Tried disk repair, and it's still not right.

If someone could help me, I'd very much appreciate it!
