[Lock Info Theme] Nativ
After a few days trying different themes for "Lock Info", I was impressed by the possiblities.
I tried designing one myself in the spirit of the native iPhone look 'n feel, without any nifty colors and stuff. It's based on the Gruppled theme (icons) but the end result won't have any folding/sliding in/out things because in the end: it's a lock screen - it should give you info on "what's up".
Anyway, here's my first Photoshop concept: Nativ
Feedback welcome of course! Be gentle ![]()

I'm sure a mod will when they see it.

Re: [Lock Info Theme] Nativ
Please release this ASAP.
Looks great, it is native right? (hence the name)
This'll make me go back to default lockscreen for sure.
Is the bottom "slide to unlock" part also themed?

@subergabs14
Thanks, but sorry man, it's native in the sense of User Experience.
I tried to stick close to the iPhone UX.
The title says "Lock Info", so unfortunately you'll have to
use that tool for your iPhone.
I wish it was truly native man, maybe in 4.0 ![]()

@NRGdesign
No, haha, I meant is it native in the theme style (no html theme).
I actually purchased LockInfo 2.0 already, so that's no problem ![]()
Indeed, hope this will be implemented by Apple in 4.0
Hope you'll release it soon!

@supergabs14
Hehe, that level of native-ness
Yeah that's the plan dude. I hate that HTML crap that you need to configure before you see anything. Should be drop 'n go.
Anyway, I started building. If anyone wants to beta test once I have something decent, let me know in this thread.

@NRGdesign
Good, I don't use html thems because they're a major downer on performance.
I hope you'll get it to look like the mockup.
Would also love to beta test when available ![]()

Re: [Lock Info Theme] Nativ
Does anyone have an idea why the header sizes (like heights, padding etc.) is difficult - or even impossible - to set with a Native LockInfo theme?
The default stuff has to be set somewhere in the first place right?
Allready searched the forum couple of times, but couldn't find something that really explains it.

Re: [Lock Info Theme] Nativ
this looks AMAZING. Finally something to drag me away from the matte ui with its nasty HTML. The layout looks prefect and i love the calendar with start date above end date.
Please let me be a beta tester for this?? ![]()

Re: [Lock Info Theme] Nativ
Hey guys,
Little update. Working on both a HTML and a Native version.
The native stuff is seriously limited (height of elements etc.) so I don't know
how fast i'll release it.
HTML is allready running on my iPhone in a mockup-sort-of-way
However, it is slow with
all that scripting crap. So what i'll work on in the coming days is stripping away all the stuff
that I don't find necessary for a simple lockscreen.
This means that I'll probably strip away box collapsing, mail read/unread functions, reloading functions etc. So the end result that I have in mind will be a much leaner version of what is commonly released.
This means however that some functionality will be lost. Anyway, keep you guys posted!
Here's an update of what it looks right now.
I'm thinking of maybe leaving the custom clock out of it as well. But don't know yet about that. The thing I hate is that you need to install another App that hides the default clock, slowing everything down even more.
Cheers

cuz deep down, everyone loves 4:20! ![]()
i'd prefer the native over HTML theme even with the limitations.

Re: [Lock Info Theme] Nativ
Custom clock could be optional, separate download maybe?
Care to post the problems you're having with the native version, maybe we can help? ![]()
Also prefer native over HTML. In the past I never used LI because it was html ![]()
