[10.6 MOD] Classic Apple Rainbow in Snow Leopard menubar

Download link: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?jmymoqgmz2n

*NOTICE: I am not the original creator of the resources used to get the classic apple in the menubar, all I did was port this to 10.6*

Important: this is ONLY for use in Snow Leopard (10.6)...the Leopard release can be found here:
http://forums.mactalk.com.au/20/41780-c … aller.html

This only works with an opaque menubar.
--> Instructions

1) Download from the link above.
2) Navigate to /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/CoreUI.framework/Resources/ (hit Shift-Command-G in Finder and paste the path).
3) Delete existing SartFile.bin (MAKE A BACKUP IN CASE WHATEVER GOES WRONG) and replace it with the one you downloaded. IF YOU DO NOT COPY MY SARTFILE.BIN AFTER DELETING YOURS IN STEP 1, YOU WILL CAUSE YOUR MAC TO CRASH.
5) Enjoy (opaque menubar)

Noooooooo, it WAS a problem — that sartfile.bin has to be undecompileable.

It's getting decompiled, there will soon be a release of a popular program in these ranks

Opaque means not translucent (see through).

Uncheck "Translucent menu bar" under "Desktop" in Sys Preferences and it should work. smile

Man I miss the old Mac OS a bit, loved the look. smile
