[Slipcover] "PDF" case (Updated with Magazine and Comic Book Cases)
My first release. I redrew Apple's PDF preview icon from scratch to use with Slipcover. I hope someone out there finds it useful.

Thanks all.
Dustin, OS X does do it by default for PDF's, but not for other file types that one could use it with (like, for example, CBR's (comic books)), hence the Slipcover case. I might be the only one to have any real use for it, but I figured I might as well share... ![]()

The whole concept of SlipCover is niche, so by all means ![]()
Thanks again ![]()

Awesome!
Could you try making one without the binder rings, so it looks like a magazine? ![]()

Here's two more variations, one with just a plain spine for magazines, and one with staples so it looks more like a comic book.

I feel like an idiot, but I cannot get this to work for the life of me. Everytime I drop a .cbr onto it the app just goes blank? Sort of embarrassing...

To get it to work with cbr's you'll have to export the cover image (or whichever page you want to use) from the cbr (some CBR viewers don't do this, but some like Sequential make it as easy as command-s) and then use the exported image with Slipcase. Then you can apply the icon to the cbr. ![]()
Glad to see some people are finding these useful. ![]()
