I got it in the bar in the finder windows, but how do you make a neat button?
Make sure that you don't have "Use Small Size" checked in Finder view options.
That can cause them to display incorrectly.

What are the floating windows on either side of your screen, they look useful and nicely designed.

Having trouble with the 1680x1050 version here; double-clicking it opens Automator. Any quick way to fix that? Thanks!

This is a good idea, why didn't you just use Script Editor though? It is included on every mac, just use it, save it as an application, than there are no Automator issues, and it runs the same way, if not quicker.
I might take a look and see if I can create a script that will re-arrange and re-size all of my commonly used apps and Windows, Firefox, iTunes, etc. I assume that should be basically the same process correct?
And for anyone that would like to adjust these to suit there own needs, don't be afraid, Applescript is just like a computers Wacky version of English, which most of us on this forum already seem to have a grasp of.
