it is just the bag but the paper idea could work...ill get to it soon, along with the other tweaks that need to be done to my other icons. thanks for the comments you guys

What a rip-off (name wise) of my mail icon released a while back 
The bags shape is great although the buckle need some work. The lid looks to be in a different material than the rest of the bag (intended?) and the "Postal" emboss looks a bit plastic compared to the rest.
There's no doubt that you have the skills to make really great icons, but maybe you should work a little on your patience.

my mistake on the name. its such a loosly tossed around term that it could have happened to anyone. i agree with you that some detail is lacking but i made the choice to release it as is due to the lack of detail needed in the actual sizes that get used. ill be tweeking the icon today to try the paper idea so ill think about spending the time on those small details. thanks for the c&c

i used it as a reference. i stumbled across it the other day and thought it would make a great mail icon so i redrew it. i wasn't going to post it because its not too original but it came out nice.
