[Critique] iPhone style icons

Okay, so for whatever reason I was in the mood for some iPhone type icons today. I thought I had seen some on the web before but after looking for a while I found none. So I thought what the heck, I'm a decent photoshopper maybe I can do this on my own. So I looked up some tutorials and came up with these. I didn't spend a lot of time on them, and these are just my first icons so they don't look that great. Basically I just used the default icons and placed them into a default template I made and got this look (if you control click and do open image in new tab it'll have a bigger picture):

I think they look OK but I would like to hear your guys' opinion on them. Maybe some tips or tricks and how to make them look better. If I had the experience (and time) I would make the icon image from scratch, but I'm not that good yet.

Re: [Critique] iPhone style icons

they are way to heavy as they are now. Feels crammed in in there.
This article by Adam Betts should help you with that problem:
