[Theme] Pellets by Mac Guru and Jm9760

http://img394.imageshack.us/img394/2916/pichg5.png

This theme was originally created by Mac Guru.  He made the base, and a lot of the glyphs.  With his permission, I touched up on a few of his icons, and expanded the set with a bunch of my own,*  I also made the dock and wallpaper.  The download includes all standard iPhone and iPod touch icons, as well as many third-party icons, and a template to make your own.

*A few of the glyphs were made by Toll Boy, so credit to him for that.

P.S. Toll Boy:  I pm'ed you for permission, and you haven't responded yet.  I was anxious to release this, so I hope you don't mind that I used a few of your glyphs since I credited you.  Thanks!

These are pretty cool. The only thing I don't like (besides the calender, but oh well) is that some of the glyphs are big enough that they go off the edge of the base, but some fit within. I think they look better going off, like safari, but they look good either way. I'm just a unity freak. tongue

Re: [Theme] Pellets by Mac Guru and Jm9760

Do you have the original wallpaper that Guru used in this theme (the greyish one)?

How about the calendar icon for the facelift users?

He didn't give me that wallpaper.  I have the calendar for facelift, but I don't have that file that is needed to go with it, sorry.

I'm pretty sure Mac Guru has the plist.  If he uploads it, either he or I could upload the icon.

Thanks for releasing this. Was waiting for it for a while now. Looks good. smile

And here's the wallpaper Mac Guru was using. I had it somehow, and I think it would be fine if I gave it to you guys.

For FaceLift users wanting a matching calendar, use my plist from above and drop it into the root folder for the theme... then use this icon...

@Mac Guru, I have a question for you.  I'm using the trial of Kate to see if I like it.  So far it's good, but I have a problem.  In summerboard I could hide the dock labels by themselves, and still have the all the other labels visible.  is there any way to do this using Kate?

There's no easy way as far as I know.  Prolly have to edit the plist.

EDIT: Read beneath me. smile

Re: [Theme] Pellets by Mac Guru and Jm9760

Yes, it's simple... in your info.plist file inside the theme you need to have the following:

Code:

<key>DockColor</key>
<dict>
<key>A</key>
<integer>0</integer>
<key>WebColor</key>
<string>#000000</string>
</dict>

The number under A is your alpha settings, 0-1 in decimal form. Setting it to ZERO makes it invisible.

Re: [Theme] Pellets by Mac Guru and Jm9760

Oh, alright thanks.  It would be good if they could just put it in there as an actual setting though.  For many themes I don't have an info.plist, and it seems kind of ridiculous to make one for each theme just for that.

It would also be great if they could allow you to theme the badges too, without having to do it manually.  (Summerboard is lacking this too)

Re: [Theme] Pellets by Mac Guru and Jm9760

I have a generic plist with my common settings preset in it and I add/tweak it to my needs and just drop em in.

I agree that it should be a setting and to my knowledge it's what WILL exist in coming versions, this is just how we do it right now.

It would be nice for Facelift to do some small customization.  Just don't want it to turn into another Customize.
