Go into Terminal and type in:
defaults write -g AppleUseCoreUI -bool YES
Or run the Automator app called uninstall in the disk image.
Meanwhile I'll see why the script isn't running for the uninstall package.
Thank you! It works ![]()

I Don't know if anybody else notices this but, it seems the +, scissors, refresh, and arrows
need to be nudged up just a tad to be fully centered on the buttons ![]()

Awesome. Dealt with the stop lights by switching to graphite. That's the only thing I don't like about this. Fantastic work. Two thumbs way up, a shorn sheep, a goat, and 3 bags of potato chips. ![]()
EDIT: OK, one weird thing for me. My "n" and "y" keys on my keyboard are going crazy after the install. Sometimes nothing from either and then sometimes they burst a bunch of characters. Weird. Otherwise working fine on an eMac 1.42GHz PPC G4 51 MD DDR SDRAM 10.5.2

Thanks, I'll just take the potato chips.
That is weird, try repairing permissions.

Sorry, the point of this theme is to bring the look of iTunes 7 to Leopard, so using a different style scroll bar is sort of out of the question. Sorry.

OK fine, 4 bags then.
I'll try permission repair. I don't think it is just coincidental since I haven't installed anything else today at system level, just a couple of drag an drop apps. I'll let you know.

Re: [Theme] iLeopard
Nice theme Thanks!...
Can you PLEASE kill Aqua (close, minimize, ect, bottons) once and for all. Maybe something SOLID.
I'm not sure what "defaults write -g AppleUseCoreUI -bool NO" does. Will disabling it make my system slower, faster? Any side affects?
Thanks again!

I also found remnants of the old aqua striped background in, Customize Toolbar, iDisk setup dialogue box, and Empty Trash confirmation dialogue box.

Re: [Theme] iLeopard
A few things I've noticed:
1) Lots of button elements are shifted upward. It's most noticeable in Safari.
2) The dialogue for emptying trash and un-mounting a disk has Aqua pinstripes. (This is one of the elements of "Aqua" that Apple actually didn't forget, so it's very strange that this actually ADDs Aqua styling. o_O)
3) The finder's "list view" has an extra thick upper boarder above each category
4) Some elements, such as the category chooser in DiskUtil are still Aqua
Other than that, this is very cool. Can't wait to use it when some of the bigger kinks are worked out.
On another note: Trying to restore my system files will hose it with Aqua icons somehow??

Re: [Theme] iLeopard
wow.
thats it. im going leopard now.
the leopard theming revolution has begun.
you can theme the shutdown dialogue! (u couldnt in tiger)
ps- can u let the rest of us themers in on how you made the installer? (and the theme in general... hows it compare to themepark? more/less work?)
wicked work! and a significant milestone in that you're the first to release a "complete" package.
sure... there might be some bugs, but you've proved something- its no longer experimentation but deploytation.

Yes, you could.
Anyway, too bad that the close, minimize and maximize buttons are from Tiger... I had to change them back to the new ones...

Re: [Theme] iLeopard
I take it back. Works on my Intel Macbook, but the navigation buttons in the Finder are sloppy on my display which prompted an uninstall. Otherwise a great theme.

Re: [Theme] iLeopard
I looked into the toolbar alignment problem, it turns out it's happening because I had to move the graphic one pixel higher in order to have them align properly in the Finder. I didn't anticipate this becoming a problem in other apps, in fact I didn't even notice the issue until it was pointed out. I'll start working on the unfocused problem tonight, and I'll look into the possibility of fixing the alignment. I want to focus on bugs before I start adding new stuff (like plastic traffic lights) so I'll make the toolbar buttons a priority.
