iTunes-Style Theme for Leopard
To Install:
Replace the extras2.rsrc file in this location:
/System/Library/Frameworks/Carbon.framework/Versions/A/Frameworks/HIToolbox.framework/Versions/A/Resources
Do not blame me for anything that may go wrong with your computer... back up the original files before replacing! This is my first release so it may not be the best... if anyone would be kind enough to make an installer for this that would be great... thanks and enjoy....

I've tried doing an installer for this, and while it always works for me, other people have mixed results. I've got the path and permissions correct, I don't know why it's so iffy.

Re: iTunes-Style Theme for Leopard
Going with this iTunes theme I decided that I'd change the aqua-ish progress bar in safari... to look like this:
so that when a page is loading the bar is more iTunes themed....
Download just Safari Theme:
http://skateaddiction.deviantart.com/ar … e-78008125
Download System Themes and Safari Themes:
http://SkateAddiction.deviantart.com/ar … s-78007604
I also added the download icons that when you are partially through a download the icon shows the safari icon and a progress bar... made that iTunes-like
just replace these files in Safari/Contents/Resources
right-click (or control-click) safari then show Package contents --> Resources replace the files included...

Make sure that Safari web-page progress bar fills the whole address bar! If you look closely, there's a 1 or 2 pixel margin there. Good idea!

I'd imagine "Mac Intosh" doesn't have a PPC mac, so it'd be pretty hard to test. However, I don't think this is the first iTunes "mod' for Leopard, and I think there are other PPC options.
I like this, however I've become too fond of Graphite to change. Thanks for the hard work!

This looks really cool. I probably won't try until it replaces most of the aqua elements and has an installer and maybe an uninstaller.

double mirror ![]()
http://www.zshare.net/download/789553658bd9b9/
zipped both and put 'em in a folder.
btw, beware the itunes rsrc. gave me a "not enough memory available" error on 2GHz CD macbook with 2GB of RAM.
safari one works nice, though.

Re: iTunes-Style Theme for Leopard
Isn't the "Not Enough Memory" error because you are using a different version of iTunes than the itunes.rsrc file was made for. That was the impression I got from looking around when I got that error on another iTunes theme.

Looks really nice. I second waiting for an installer/uninstaller. I get worried with editing things like this and need to ensure there is a quick install/uninstall. Good work though!

Aqua one did that too... I'll change that because that does bother me too. I'll change the download links to the newer version when I update it... EDIT: download the newer version in the first post

I think that I could do that since when I save it from Themepark it allows me the option to save for PowerPC... try downloading it again in the first post

Maybe I am not correctly understanding you but this isn't a theme for iTunes but a overall theme for Leopard to match the iTunes scrollbars.
I am also sorry to hear that some of you are having problems. You should log off and/or restart your computer to see changes... for me logging off worked for others it may not... also backup the original files please...

Re: iTunes-Style Theme for Leopard
Now for more iTunes like theme on Leopard go to the Appearance Preference Pane in System Preferences. Change the Highlight color to other then a window should pop-up with colors to select from. Go to the sliders and change
Red to 120
Green to 140
Blue to 170
You can always adjust the colors to however you choose.

I am not quite sure on how to make an Installer or an Uninstaller but if you want the originals you can download this:
http://SkateAddiction.deviantart.com/ar … s-78007604
That package contains:
Safari Theme
iTunes Scrollbar and Progress Bar Theme
iTunes Scrollbar and Evaporation Progress Bar Theme
Backup of the Original Default Aqua that is with Leopard.
...and text files on how to install these.

It won't work for me. The files won't replace. Their last modified date doesn't change from October 17th when I try to replace them so obviously they aren't being replaced
Try deleting the originals then pasting in the new ones... you'll have to authorize it with your password. That should fix it.

I'm sorry I should have looked closer at what was being said when I posted it, but I think the "Not Enough Memory" is a problem having to do with the version of something. Maybe all users have to be running 10.5.2 and all updates or something. I think that the problem has to do that the .rsrc doesn't have all the components that the OS is looking for.
I'm just throwing things out there to try and see what a solution might be so maybe people can figure out what the problem is. Sorry for not quite reading and comprehending everything the first time though.
