{Icon} Zakk Wylde Les Paul
Zakk Wylde is the guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne/Black Sabbath/Black Label Society. He rocks this awesome Bulls Eye Gibson Les Paul, and I made it into an icon!
I know, his has like, tons more stripes, but his is also bigger. And, I know I must fix the shadow. I will, but GarageBand lives in my dock, and I think it looks fine for now. Plus, I'm tired of Photoshop right now. Probably tomorrow I will fix it. But you can get it now anyways.

Also, is this made from scratch, or is it a mod of one of the existing guitars inside the resources? Just curious

It looks like a mod of the default icon...
It still looks good though (as it should, the GarageBand icon is a great icon), so good job!

'Tis a mod. I basically cut out the sunburst, popped a bull's eye in there. And put some new shine on there. It looks like a Les Paul doublecut (http://www.gibson.com/en%2Dus/Divisions … le%20Cuts/), which isn't what Wylde rocked, but hell, it looks good and that's what I'm concerned about. Save for the shadow. Fact, I'm gonna go fix that right now. Be back with an update!

yea. looks fine in coverflow and my dock mod. i tried a different shadow, but now it gets cut off near the top, so i have to shrink the actual guitar by about 20px, at which point I will be able to have a 20px shadow around the whole thing. But my MacBook is slower than a box of ramen with a mental disorder right now, so I'm gonna give it a rest for a while.

that body isnt the correct shape for the led paul, thats still the body of a 335 iirc.
google search Zakk Wylde Les Paul and look at the images you'll see that the body isnt symmetrical

I really want to upgrade the icon, but my external drive with IconBuilder got wiped and I don't have the patience, or more importantly internal drive space to reinstall Developer Tools. But if anyone wants to recreate it, or mod it, it's yours for the taking. All layers should be there still, so its a matter of knocking out the bullseye. Have fun!

Cleaned up the edges using quick mask and then adjusted the shadow. Full credit to Apple and jsi (...).

I modified the default GarageBand icon, creating icons from scratch is not my area of expertise. I'm working on vectoring right now, but perhaps in the future...the first icon i want to do from scratch is a red fender tele.
