[WIP] Cyberduck Icon Replacement {Released}

I am rarely using Cyberduck since I got another FTP client, but Cyberduck is quite a good choice for new switcher and those who love open source apps.

The original icon, um... not really a icon, but a photo of plastic duck.  It looks okay but since the release of Leopard, everybody love using the Coverflow view to "watch" the apps' icon, that little yellow duck looks blurry (as there's no official update on the icon for Leopard).

So... here what I am working...
I am still working on the two small size icon (32px and 16px), so I will release this when they are completed.

Released

It's funny to see it sit with other "animals" on the dock

Sorry for my English, as I am not a native English speaker.

--------------------------------
Update 1
Thanks all your comments, and you may like to hear is, I finally released it. → Release Thread

It's my first icon release, I'm very happy if you like it.  I will contiue on the document icon later, also the bookmark drawer one.

Update 2
Here's up coming document icon
http://nadesign.net/images/preview_cyberduck_doc.png
There's no 48px image I can put into Icon Composer, the one on the desktop (default view option in 48px) might looks a bit blurry.

Would you like it?

And here thanks Pinky to make the Widget mod, you can get it in this thread

Update 3
The downloads icon I am working:
http://nadesign.net/images/preview_icons_download.png

I am not sure it's good or I should make it looks more *standard* (Safari/Cyberduck one is a document icon with a progress bar at the bottom).

Final Update
All documents icon released, plus some little thing, Check it out

That looks awesome. Maybe make the eyes a little darker in the small versions. Other than that it looks really cute. Great work.

IMHO the arm looks cut off in a straight line, which doesn't look realistic. Other than that, it is a good icon.

I just figure out there's a color shifting problem by using Icon Composer to convert PNG to icon, that's why the gradient is not so smooth between the arm/wing and the body.

I made a little fix on it, and updated the preview (the one on the dock), is it look better now?

Really great!

Once you get done with this icon (and release it, so I can get my hands on it!!), please try and send it to the CyberDuck developers.  It really needs a new icon, and this is looking like it's gonna fit perfectly.

Good job!

I'd also vote for this as the new official icon for Cyberduck. It badly needs one and this looks really, really great smile_thumbup

I love the duck, but to make it more "cyber" would you try to make a version with the duck wearing a space helmet or something?

This is what I use as my Cyberduck icon, so you know what I'm talking about...

I get a lot of those errors too. How did you fix it?

If you use IconComposer, make sure you drag pngs onto the boxes, not the actual psd files.

Yes, it actually makes a difference wink

It looks really good. I think it doesn't need any updates, you can easly release it.
