Re: [WIP] GAIA Community Suite
This theme does look really great! It's very unique and modern.
To be honest, I'm probably not the sort of person who would use it for much time if at all, though, perhaps just from the difficulty of changing the rest of my GUI to match. However, I still think it looks excellent! ![]()
A few critiques:
1. I think the titlebar widgets should look unique from each other. Also, I would personally prefer them in a more familiar style, such as x-+, rounded rectangles, or circles. Perhaps a variant?
2. I think that there should be more space between the titlebar and the rest of the window, such that in Finder, the space above and below the buttons are about the same.

Same thought I had, most people won't realize how amazing 4impression's previous work was back in the pre 2.0 days on XP. The best of the best coming OS X ![]()

I agree with chrislee. I think there should be a variant of the titlebar buttons. I think they should be more like the circular buttons. Kind of like the ones seen in the guikit Cold. Also i would like to say the scroll bars look very good and unique.

A minor, but noticable problem i found. is these to colors do not match up. The toolbar stretch image seems to be a type of gradient, the left cap looks like a solid color.

yesyesyes!!
I came upon FourImpressions a few months ago and have been extremely jealous ever since. I can't believe they're theming for OS X now. I really can't wait! Everything looks soooo amazing, especially iTunes. This is going to be awesome ![]()

I'm sure going to try this out when it hits the streets of OSX. I just hope the titlebar widgets wil be replaced, they seem to be out of place in this theme and might just be the reason I'm just going to try this and not use it. Gothic and futuristic elements don't combine too well. ![]()

Re: [WIP] GAIA Community Suite
Am I the only one who didn't consider this a 4impressions thing but more of a customize community thing?
But regardless it looks very good.

GAIA? its a 4 letter name which 4imp loves, and is usually used to mean earth. its a lot older then a movie that Square lost a lot of money on.
EDIT: incorrect tense
