hmmm, i'm on iphone 4 and it blows it up to unreal proportions.
On that pic with the boat, all I get is the blue sky.... weird
I kept the download with your modification, but i'll have to change mine to use the lockbackground.png as that is the only way it will display it properly.

Anyway, did the new script stop your crashes? I haven't had any yet.
Do you get the new slider and such on the 3gs? Curious since all of the images are set up for the iphone 4.

I also tried the SN fix and it didn't work for me because it installs notifier (not Status Notifier) with the SN icons only. The script that is included with this mod is meant for SN. It may appear to work, but you will prob get random crashes.

Thats wierd because ive had less crahes up till now:lol:

However i have tried the sn-less version and it seems to be crashing whenever i have album art on the lock screen(not all of my album art just specific pictures).
Gonna attempt to remove all my album art and test that out. ****On a side note: i havent tested if the notifications crash the phone yet.... Havent had any texts or missed calls ( so lonely.... )


UPDATE: yea you are right h0bbs it doesnt work like its supposed to but it does crash less for me for some odd reason :/. Btw has anyone solved the album art issue where if it shows but completely overlaps the seraphan?

I just updated the new script last night after I replied to you, so maybe give the link a try again.
It hasn't crashed once for me yet.

I also added the change fortunado posted but it doesn't work on my iphone 4. The background image is blown up out of proportion. So you'll have to change it back to just Lockbackground.png if it does the same for you.

Thanks for your trouble and help but turns out I had to uninstall lockscreen clock hide. It kept crashing me into safe mode. Perhaps it's just not compatible with ios4 yet.

Lockscreen clock hide works fine for me in iOS4 ... I think. I think it's something else that is crashing?

I'd like to see this thing just completely repackaged and re-released for iOS4 (3GS & iPhone 4 versions).

uhhm i downloaded it and activated it in winterboard but it only shows the LockBackground.html

and not the normal background too :'(

No german version that I am aware of for this theme.
You have to read the various posts on how to change the scripts or download the link I provided on page 4.

There is still the issue of the album artwork overlapping the theme, and since noAA is no longer on cydia for ios4 it will look wierd. other than that it seems to be working fine. :*)

I agree, I really really don't want to install Winterboard or mess around with SSH too much other than just porting the theme to the phone.

Is there anyone who could so graciously take the time to bundle things up into a simple download? I've been searching this thread but there are so many changes, variations, and fixes posted across the 5 pages that I'm not even sure what I need to do anymore to install it.

I really want this but have no idea how to do it. Have been searching for quite a while. Are there any tutorials out there?

1. You need to jailbreak your phone.

2. Login to Cydia and download 'Winterboard'

3. Download iphonebrowser and connect your phone to your computer.

4. In iphone browser navigate to 'Library/Themes/ ' and drop the file there (drag and drop into right pane).

5. launch winterboard and select (check) the file name.

Hello. First I want to say that this is an excellent theme. I realize that you may be overwhelmed by massive request, so I was thinking maybe I can give you the low-down if you plan on updating this:

-A way to use system background
The fix posted one page 1 does not work, as it causes the image to be blown out of proportion, so maybe if you can come up with a fix, that would be awesome.

-Disable lock UI
I wanted to use this with the Glasklart HD, but because you cant disable the lockbutton changes, it caused them both to overlap:


However, I fixed this by removing the slider image via SSH.

-A way to the Cal/Time to change to "Sync In Progress" or the media controls to replace the small icons.
Once again, when you connect to iTunes or pull up the media controls, they overlap each other. But if anything, this is the least of my concerns as I'm not looking at the screen and the media controls would only be up for a split second.



It doesnt look that bad, but I guess it was awkward with both clocks appearing. "Sync In progress" appears almost right between the clock and the days of the Cal, so its not too bad either.

I've tinkered with this for about an hour, which was just testing various images and brightening the icons, and here's my result:




Once again, thanks for the theme and I hope you take the time to at least look over my first request, and the other two aren't too big of a deal.

Another thing I noticed is that it doesnt show up with playing music:

Looks like I might have to uninstall. Whenever I play music it, turn it off, and turn back on, the lockscreen flicks for a second and reboots into safe mode. Happened 3 times. :-[

You can not use the orig theme without status notifier, It Crashes! :-! This problem has been addressed in at least 2 pages worth of posts.
Either use the link I posted (which removes SN) or delete the theme entirely.

This is the last post post I'm making on this theme, because I'm getting tired of repeating the same thing.
I have enjoyed the content created by the orig author but, it seems he will not be making a return to fix the current issues.

Either enjoy it or create a better theme; because it seems complaints/comments will not be addressed.

Just change the status.js script to invalidate itself.
I did this by changing the following value from...

if (xmlReq.readyState != 4) return;

to

if (xmlReq.readyState != 200) return;

or just get the script from the link I provided which has all of that and the removal of the SN icons.

I also redid the html files which you will have to re-read through the various posts. I'm sorry but i'm not going through all this again. Just download my files.
