If you use a knob from a fw 3+ theme you'll need to double it's size in a photo editor then rename it to VolumeKnob@2x.png. @Stumbl3r - to theme the weather app you'll need a folder called Weather.app and as above double the size of the background image files and rename them weather_day_bkgd@2x.png and weather_night_bkgd@2x.png (note there are no caps in these file names). The requirement to create a doubled image file size is only for iPhone 4 retina displays. If you're running iOS4 on the 3G/3GS devices then the image files do not need photo editing, only renaming omitting the @2x. Many but not all iOS4 system image files carry the same filename as fw3+ themes and many but not all files are duplicated in size with the @2x added to the filename in iOS4 so the the OS can run on both 3G/3GS and 4 devices. But iOS4 has also brought many directory changes.
